Z-247 Z-247 J-29 4929 ADS; OLAF 26 ADS Humboldt Mountain, Phoenix, AZ(FAA site) ARSR-1E ARSR-1E; FPS-90 (FPS-116); CARSR w/ 7172 antenna [FAA]. 1972   Joint-use site. First shared with the Air Force as part of the Southern Air Defense System. Radios were at Mt. Lemmon, AZ. Replaced by new ARSR-4 JSS site at Ajo, AZ (J-29A), site of former Luke-Williams Range {Ajo AFS} (Z-181). After 9/11 (2001), JSS data-tie was re-established. Now operates Common Air-Route Surveillance Radar (CARSR) radar as of 12/6/2011.

Current Use: Still active. This FAA long-range radar site is now data-tied into the Joint Surveillance System (post 9/11).
