The base itself was first known as Great Falls AFB. ** Reactivated 30-Jun-71 (FAA joint-use). 801st Radar Squadron deactivated 1 July 1974. Now replaced by ARSR-4 JSS site at Bootlegger Ridge, MT (site J-77A), north of Great Falls.
