M-114     679 Jacksonville NAS (Manual), FL (FPS-8 Navy); FPS-8; MPS-14; TPS-10D   1959 mid 1962 (1968) * This radar site was first planned to be at Fernandina Beach, FL. * The manual AC&W radar Air Force Station was located on Jacksonville NAS at the Flight Operations area (in 1962, it relocated to a SAGE radar facility within the NAS). [See entry for Z-114.] The manual radar facility remained in operation until 1968, supporting Naval flight operations.
M-114A Z-114A     Bunnell, FL FPS-18 FPS-18 Oct-60 01-Jul-70 Gap-Filler Annex.
M-114B Z-114B     Blythe Island, GA FPS-18   Mar-60 01-Jul-70 Gap-Filler Annex. Now has been mostly consumed by heavy undergrowth; roof has caved in.

Current Use: Manual site is still the Flight Operations area for JAX NAS. The old AN/MPS-14 height-finder radar tower still stands, and appears to support several antennas.
