Recent Photos of Suttons Corner GFA, NY

August 2004 photos by Tom Page

Having had some free time on Monday, 23 August 2004, while I was in upstate New York, I made a quick run up to Suttons Corner for a first-hand look at the former gap-filler annex there. Since Bernie Radigan had already sent us a batch of excellent recent photos from April 2003, I took only this one photo.

In comparing my photo to Bernie`s, I discovered a few things had changed since April 2003. Mainly, the old house trailer at the east side of the GFA building has been moved about a 100 feet or so down the access road and off to the side. This allowed a clear shot of the gap-filler building`s east side. The other difference was the seasonal change; the trees on the day I was there were in full summer foliage, while they were without foliage in Bernie`s early-spring photos. Also, the grass was green this day. The only other difference was that the front door was wide open, not closed as in the earlier pix. Otherwise, the site itself looked virtually the same.
