705th AC&W Squadron (See 5071st AB Sq).
5071st AB Sq., King Salmon. Men assigned to King Salmon AFS will be joined during the summer by a horde of fishermen, attracted by the outstanding salmon and rainbow trout fishing in the area.

Both the Air Force and civilian airlines operate fishing camps in this area, at the base of the Alaska Peninsula, and the demand for space is high.

In addition to the radar activities of the 705th AC&W Sq., the 5071st Air Base Sq. operates alert facilities for F-102 interceptors from Elemendorf`s 817th Fighter Interceptor Squadron.
