Radar Shop and Height Finder Remote Equipment

Just to the left out of the picture is an identical rack as that on the far right. These are the receivers and anti-jam circuits. One set of racks is for the FPS-90, and the other (on the right) is for the FPS-6. The little boxes on top of the black racks are radar blankers. These were set to keep the radar from radiating the people in the search tower, as the Height Finder was swung through their azimuth. These often failed however, as one of the FAA guys had a hearing aid, and it caused him great pain when the RF blasted through.
