TM-191 Z-191 *   813 Rockport AFS, TX FPS-3; FPS-6   1959 30 June 1963 Plans for an AN/FPS-28 FD search radar were cancelled. Site shared with FAA. Located adjacent to the Aransas County Airport. * Deactivation was initially held in abeyance in FY 1964 for the FAA’s proposed National Airspace Utilization System (NAUS), and SAGE designation of Z-191 was assigned.
TM-189A / TM-191C       Delmita, TX FPS-18   Apr-60 Jun-63 Gap-Filler Annex. Location is about 4 miles west-southwest of Delmita.
TM-191A       Riviera, TX FPS-18   Aug-59 Jun-63 Gap-Filler Annex. Building still extant.
TM-191B       Palacios, TX FPS-18   1961 Jun-63 Gap-Filler Annex. ADC records give operational date as Jul-62. The radar site was located on the grounds of old Camp Hulen (a WWII anti-aircraft artillery training center), just west of town.
