M-111 Z-111   908 Marietta AFS, GA ARSR-1A; FPS-6 (2) ARSR-1E; FPS-6 (2). ARSR-1E is now Common ARSR (CARSR) 1959 + 08-Sep-68 + The 908th AC&W Sq. first operated about a mile to the east of this SAGE radar site beginning 1956, and first was known as ''Dobbins AFB.'' Plans for an AN/FPS-28 FD search radar, and later an AN/FPS-27 FD search radar, were cancelled. This radar site remains an active FAA site, now with a CARSR radar.

P-42C / M-111G       Melvin Hill, NC FPS-18   ** ** Gap-Filler Annex. ** Reportedly, was briefly operational; however, ADC listed no dates. Located alongside SR 1353, Radar Road. Became an annex of Marietta AFS (M-111) in 1961; was declared excess in 1962.

Current Use: Still active. This now-FAA long-range radar site is now data-tied into the Joint Surveillance System (post 9/11).
