This photo reportedly shows a couple of the original barracks at Custer AFS (built at Fort Custer during WW-II). These barracks and some other WW-II era buildings were reportedly used by the 781st AC&W Squadron in the early 1950`s before the squadron was relocated to the far east side of the base (where the SAGE blockhouse was later built).

From the web site http://www2.willard.lib.mi.us/bcphotos/fort_custer/index.htm These two shots apparently were taken during the time the fire department was using the former radar station for training (1970`s, 1980`s).
