The AN/MPS-16, -16A and -16B are high-power, C-band, long-range, mobile height finders. The radar sets are capable of accepting azimuth control from, and furnishing height data to, search radar sets equipeed with either Indicator Group OA-175/FPS-3 or AN/UPA-35. These are normally transported on four M-35 trucks.
