755th - Williams Bay AFS, WI
1999

Submitted by Chuck Rowland

The site is located north of the town of Williams Bay, about half way to Elkhorn on Hwy.67, on the east side, and slightly north of Hwy.50, which goes E-W between Delavan and Lake Geneva. The site is now identified as a "State Reservation," and previously, in the mid-70`s, was an "Honor Farm" for troublesome youths.

The access road onto and around the site is the short road going into the dependent housing area (north of the site access road). The on-base curved road that branches to the north, off the one that goes from the highway into the site (west to east), is the road that went up the hill past the barracks and up to the FPS-6 and CPS-6B towers. The straight-in road went to the mess hall, orderly room, motor pool, etc. The small buildings (black dots) with the small entrance road is the housing area (looks like they subtracted a few homes).
