Site History and Findings of fact

The property formerly known as Owingsville gap filler Annex consisted of two separate sites.

In 1948 the government acquired app 6.48 acres of property in Bath County, which was used as a cantonment area designated as the Owingsville Gap Filler Annex. 6.13 acres were declared excess to GSA in 1985, and conveyed to several private ownerships, including the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and the General Telephone Co. A Mr. Bill Pabian of the General Telephone Co was listed as the POC at 606-253-4409. The remaining .35 acre was reported as excess to the GSA in May 1961

There was also another site, a microwave tower constructed and currently being used by the owner. Also existing on that site are several concrete structures such as foundations, walks, cistern, etc.
