Site History and Findings of Fact
On December 1958, the government acquired 0.27 acres. The Air Force developed and operated the unmanned gap filler site until it was declared excess in June 1961. The property, which included the building, tower supports, and security fence, was deeded to the Normangee Independent School District on October 1961
Current Usage at Time of Report
The site was still owned by the school district, with the building, tower supports, and fence still in place and in good shape.
