748th AC&W Sq., Kotzebue. Kotzebue AFS, home of the 748th AC&W Sq., is only 4 miles from one of Alaska`s top tourist attractions.

The town of Kotzebue, Alaska`s second largest Eskimo village, is visited by many airline tours, giving visitors a view of modern Eskimo life. The site and the town`s 1,200 citizens engage in many joint activities, and regular runs from the site can take the men to the village.

The recreation facilities include photo, leathercraft, and jade hobby shops. There is also checkout equipment including boats, motors, fishing tackle, shotguns, cameras, and musical instruments.
