Site History and Findings of Fact

Constructed and operated as an unmanned radar station by the Air Force between March 1963 and July 1969, the 3.77 acre site (including the 2.65 acre easement) contains a 40 by 40 concrete block building, a steel radar tower, a security fence located along the perimeter, an underground storage tank, and a well. Except for minor vandalism, nothing has changed at the site since DOD sold it in 1970 to a private party, who is still the current owner. The building is currently being used for storage.
