Findings of Fact, Site Location, and Information on Bradyville Gap Filler Annex, based on information provided by US Army Corps of Engineers Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDS) G04TN0027

Site Location

Rutherford County, Tennessee

Site History and Findings of Fact

The former Bradyville gap Filler Annex consisted of 0.65 acre, acquired by the Air Force from W.M. and Ethel Douglas by a deed dated 18 September 1956. The site was reported surplus on 25 April 1961, with GSA conveying it to R.L. Pohlman, Jr., by deed dated 4 October 1961.

Current Usage of Site At Time of report

R.J. Pohlman was still the current owner in 1985, who requested the government remove the concrete block building, concrete tower foundation, chain link fence, a 5,000-gallon underground storage tank, and miscellaneous sidewalks, gravel paths, and storm drains. Because the site is privately owned land, and the deed does not obligate the Government to restore the site, only the underground storage tank is eligible for restoration.
