Site Location

On a hilltop between the towns Beulah and Juntura, and approximately 60 miles east of Burns, Oregon

Site History and Findings of Fact

DOD acquired 42.57 acres from the BLM from April 1957 to January 1958, including three easements from private parties, and a `no-area` license from Malheur County.

The site was never developed by the military, and no improvements were constructed at the site. It was declared excess to their needs on February 1958, with public lands being relinquished back to BLM, and easements conveyed to the private parties in June of 1958 and 1959.
