Possible Beatty, NV GFA site

The Beatty NASA Radar Tracking Station appears as a very-likely candidate for the once-planned / cancelled Beatty Gap-Filler Annex (ADC). Maybe?

The article at http://roadrunnersinternationale.com/seven_sisters_beatty.html actually mentions the other ADC (SAGE) radar stations in Nevada, both long-range and gap-filler. It indicates that the Beatty NASA Radar Tracking was not a gap-filler site per se. However, early ADC plans reportedly did call for a GFA site at Beatty, ADC Site # SM-164A. Since, according to this article, the Beatty NASA Radar Tracking Station functioned in a capacity similar to an ADC gap-filler annex, I am *speculating* that ADC recognized the opportunity to achieve radar covereage without having to fund it, and thus cancelled their GFA site there. Or, maybe ADC decided they had sufficient radar coverage already, and then turned transferred the parcel of land for the Beatty GFA over to NASA.

One photo (above) shows a building about the same size as a typical GFA radar building. It does not appear to be L-shaped. Even if the building was not built as a GFA radar building, the site itself looks about right.

The website post at http://www.dreamlandresort.com/forum/messages/27388.html provides the Latitude-Longitude coordinates: 37 04 53.25 N, 116 49 05.77 W.

Anyway, we think we can conclude with a fairly-high probability is that the Beatty NASA Radar Tracking Station was very likely the *planned* site of the cancelled Beatty Gap-Filler Annex (SM-164A). Does anyone else agree? Disagree? Thanks.
