Radar antenna pedestal failed due to cracks in one leg and was destroyed
soon after this picture...
Pedestal constructed by German contractors.
Also note ground to air UHF/VHF receive and transmitt antennas. These
antennas and the radio equipment
were installed by the 2874th GEEIA from Ramstein AB, Germany.
