Frank Bishop`s "Personal" K-18 Patch

Personal patches and nametags were all the rage in Korea. It seems that everyone had something made. This is a large patch and was worn on the back of a field jacket. Of course when you got back to the states they had to come off. Speaking from experience, they made a mess of field jackets and fatigues when you had to take them off. Editor.

Frank Bishop`s contribution, shown here, is a fine example of these patches. The image was scanned in November, 2003 and it is really amazing that it has kept its color all of these years. Frank reports that it measures 11x10-inches. It shows:
