Taiwan now has its own operational "PAVE PAWS" phased-array missile-warning radar, reportedly built by Raytheon. See http://www.wired.com/2013/03/taiwan-radar/.

Served at "A" battery Selfridge AFB north of Detroit, 1964. Moved to Group headquarters in 1965 to drive for the Detroit area Defense Commander, Col Watson. In November of 65 I transferred to SHAPE headquarters, Paris, France.

How can I find my units roster?

The old family-housing area at the former Fort Fisher AFS, now Air Force Recreation Area, is undergoing extensive renovation. A few news stories are found on-line; here is one: http://www.starnewsonline.com/article/20141111/ARTICLES/141119946
